Top Notch Canine was founded and established by Reagan Pearman in 2018 and DSWK was founded by Bebo Santana in 2022. As two top of the line companies we decided to merge and bring more education, skill, and talent to you and your pets. We offer basic obedience, advanced obedience, potty training, house manners, and rehabilitate problem dogs. Our programs include board and trains, private lessons, and boarding.
Bebo's journey in the dog world began when he was born, coming from a multigenerational family who have dedicated their lives to dogs, from breeding and training to judging, trialing and decoying. Bebo and his family have done it all from personal protection dogs to law enforcement K9s, sport dogs, contracts, and even conformation, agility, competitive obedience, and search and rescue. Bebo is a French Ring and NVBK certified trial decoy as well as a National Champion and competitor, and a K9 Street League judge.
Will served in the Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment until 2015. While there he completed: OSUT, Airborne School, RASP, Ranger School, and 3 rotations to Afghanistan. During Will’s time in the 75th Ranger Regiment, he developed a keen interest for watching the dogs on missions with them as the dogs worked. These very versatile, dual purpose dogs are able to help Rangers on their missions with everything from route clearance to detaining suspects. That small bit of intrigue was a seed that followed him as he left the military and got his first German Shepherd, Duke. Duke came into his life in 2015 like a wrecking ball. Although Duke was an amazing running buddy, he needed a lot of help being trained. Will began taking classes with Duke and eventually met Reagan. She had a passion for dogs just like him. Reagan was training dogs professionally at the time, and Will began to learn from her and help her with her training. He soon realized that this passion for training dogs might actually be able to be a career. Will is a Certified NePoPo Gold Trainer with an Electronic Collar Certification, a Professional Member of the IACP, as well as a CGC evaluator. He continues to strive to always be a student of dog training. Reagan and Will started Bootleggers PSA club together in 2020, and he is currently the club director. He enjoys spending time on the weekends with family, and training sport dogs for PSA.
Ashley started her journey in the pet dog world in 2018. Working with behavior modification, service dog, pet obedience, advanced and off leash obedience. During that time her passion became more apparent and she decided to involved herself more in the working dog world. For over a year Ashley was mentored and trained under a Federal K9 officer who is certified with these organizations NNDDA, NAPWDA, CCU, TSA/Homeland and NSAR. During this mentorship she learned tracking, trailing, detection, K9 obedience, and handling. Ashley has attended countless seminars and has done apprenticeships under some of the best in the industry. Falling in love working dog and pushing her to become more involved in the sport world as well. In 2022 she was involved in PSA and currently aspiring to compete in French Ring. She is currently learning, in training and handling sport dogs, developing puppies and green dogs, whelping litters, and learning to decoy. We are very excited to have her as part of the team.
Katie grew up loving animals of all kinds and spent her childhood riding horses and training her family’s pet dogs before she began volunteering for a service dog organization in 2017. She raised 2 service dog puppies through the organization and has gone on to raise and train service dogs privately since. Katie also spent 3 years as a veterinary technician, gaining valuable skills and experience handling a variety of dogs and learning how to meet their individual needs. In 2020 she moved to Orlando with her family and continued working as a vet tech before taking a part time job with a local dog trainer who specialized in rehabilitation for aggressive dogs. Katie fell in love with the process of helping owners and their dogs, and has strived to further her knowledge ever since. She began learning about protection sports in 2022 when she got her first Malinois Mars, and is currently training him to compete in PSA. In her free time, she still rides horses when she can, and enjoys spending time with her four dogs, training, going for hikes, and traveling with them.
Reagan has always had a love for animals since a young age. In 2015 she decided to take the first step toward making her passion for dogs a career. She began by educating herself on canine behavior and participating in training classes with her own dog, focusing on leash reactivity towards other dogs. She took her talents to PetSafe Village in late 2015 and began training dogs professionally. Following this step in her career, in early 2017, she joined a franchise where she sharpened her skills training dogs. After four years of learning and training she decided to open her own business with her husband Will, Top Notch Canine! In her free time Reagan loves to compete in dog sports and hang out with family. Her Belgian Malinois Cato, is a national competitor in dock diving. She also enjoys competing in; PSA, frisbee, conformation, and NACSW. On the weekends you can usually find her taking pictures of sport dogs and training at Bootleggers PSA Club. She is an IACP professional member, a CGC evaluator, as well as a NePoPo Silver School Graduate. Her favorite aspect of dog training is helping people be able to include their animals in even more parts of their lives, and all the joy that brings their owners.
